I am looking for varying species of plants with medicinal properties. Nothing specific, but certainly leaning toward a preference of that which isn't common.

Forgive my ignorance, but the fact that we're from two separate worlds leads me to assume the type of horticulture we're familiar with might very well be different, also. Spouting names might be fruitless, so let's do it this way...

I'm in the market for anything hallucinogenic, that which induces a state of paralysis, or something with sedative properties that inconveniences judgment and the higher cognitive function.
