pointed out to me when she was beta reading Chapter 15 that Zuko, for all of his stengths and weaknesses, is really kind of a naive optimist, which... I hadn't really thought about, but yeah totally makes sense. I don't think, no matter how horrible Azula is, that he would want anyone to die no matter what.

AND YAY! I've had that little rebirth speech planned since like... Chapter 2. It's so weird to see things I've been planning so long actually go up.

And you'll get lucky, because 18 will either be up tonight or tomorrow.

Oh Zuko. As my lovely beta pointed out during the revision process, at the end of the day he really is a kind of naive optimist - he just wants to do his thing on the throne and live in peace. That's not such an unreasonable thing, is it?

And you have fantastic timing. I just finished the damn thing Saturday night.
