Filling:
>1 glass cherries/blueberries (about 300g drain weight)
>2 tbsp starch flour
>1 glass cold water

stuff to decorate it with :D
a cake pan (standard round or a small rectangle, for a whole baking tray you should double the amount of ingredients stated above)

That is quite a cake *_______* Buttercream icing is my favourite! Have you tried baking cupcakes with that kind of icing? The Magnolia Bakery in NY has those (red velvet flavoured with buttercream icing) and they're to die for! *files recipe away to friends because I fail at cooking/baking in general*

Last summer I've tasted my way through all cupcakes available at the Hummingbird Bakery in London and I loved the buttercream ones <3 I prefer to use fondant, because you can form and colour is more easily, but butter cream icing just tasts way better. Fondant is simply too sweet D: .. but butter cream cakes are so heavy, I can't eat more than one piece of cake before I'm full XD
A shame you fail at baking but I hope you can convince some friend to make this cake for you, it's totally worth it ;;
