Oh, this was WONDERFUL. Their voices were all so strong I could hear them in my head. And you nailed Walter, not an easy thing to do. And you stuck them in the End 'Verse. That alone wins you much admiration! :-D
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I was really scared to try and write Walter's POV, but it was one of those things where I felt like I came to understand the character better by doing it. And how could I resist 2014!Cas and Walter getting high together? ;)
You did a beautiful job of marrying two of my favorite shows. I would love to see Dean and Peter out having drinks, swapping cons and war stories. And the line about not letting loved ones go . . . in the context of a Cas-Dean-Sam triangle--especially in that future--that broke my heart a little.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It took me a while to figure out what the emotional connection b/w Walter and Cas might be, but once I thought about the problem of not being able to let go, it kind of stuck with me...
And yeah, it's always been my private fanon that Dean and Peter pulled cons together while Sam was at Stanford and Walter was in St. Claire's--so I had to get a little of that in there :)
OMGGGGGGG :DDDDDDDD These characters are my two favorites on tv right now, and you've got them here so wonderfully, so whimsically and lovingly, omfg, it's gorgeous. Thank you so much for writing this, I love it.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! They are both such intense characters, I was a little scared to try putting them together, but I felt like I learned something about them by doing it--
Thanks so much for reading and for the lovely feedback--
I'm so glad you enjoyed it--and especially that you thought the Walter voice came out okay. I was scared to try it, but I felt like I learned something about the character by doing it--He's so touching in his attachments, especially to Peter, and I wanted to give something like that to his relationship with Castiel.
Thanks so much for reading and for the lovely feedback--
