I'll try to keep this short and to the point - due to massive cuts in public education, I may not have a job next year.  I've known this for a while now...but until the town council decides how much more they're gonna cut from the budget, the union decides whether or not we're gonna agree to a pay freeze, and the superintendent uses this

*hugs* and hopes that the parent option doesn't come to play. I promised myself I'd never let things get there myself. I love my mom, but I'd have to be one step removed from living in a box to try to move in with her.

It's not so easy to change one's life just like that. She could move to another state where the teaching climate is not so awful, but I bet if someone suggested that to her she would not be so thrilled.
