This is just so sweet and perfect; exactly how I would imagine Meredith and Derek's first Christmas to be! I love what Derek got her for Christmas, and I can't wait to see what she got him! And the image of Derek being woken up by a cute three-year-old niece is too precious for words.

Ok, Derek's Christmas gifts? Perfect. Absolutely perfect. If I were Meredith, I would have probably cried. I love your Shepherd family so much. They just seem like wonderful people for Derek to have grown up with, and I think it's such a good thing for Meredith to be accepted into a family like that. This whole scene was just so heartwarming and lovely...I'm off to go read the rest of it!
