Amelia Peabody mystery series fic
It was a debate Amelia never considered; green tea vs. black tea, but after Nefret had learned about the benefits of green tea in medical school it became a topic of contention in the house.
Ramses, who generally agreed with Nefret on any subject, took the opposing view for reasons known only to himself. Emerson said he didn't give a curse, he just wanted them to finish their excavation notes. They had a devil of a time keeping the staff from weighing in and making things worse.
Amelia, trying to keep the peace, said she could see benefits to both (but secretly thought the British black tea was superior) & encouraged them to enjoy the medicinal properties of whiskey and soda.
