I cannot even imagine why one would want to do such a thing. :S I'm doing my darn best to avoid a slip up. :/

I think thats the main issue - accidental cross posting. But then again, there's always the risk of someone wanting to engage in some cyber bullying/being an asshole and purposefully cross posting. This is at least a defense against the first one.
