I never pegged myself as a "cat person," because I always thought cats were too stuck up and had bad attitudes. After dating someone with cats I was a little more open-minded. After reading Kate's post about losing one of her dogs (Bullet), I've been sad all morning. I went back and remembered the two dogs that were my best friends growing up and realized there's still a lot of feelings there that I had pushed back because they were too painful. I love my cat... last night I was laying on my back and she came up and slept on my lap all night. She's soooo smart. I've never seen a cat with this much personality. Whenever we come home she meows angrily like "do you know how long I had to sit here all by myself??"
