I just want to say thank you - I had a real blast doing this, despite being Jossed two days before posting. I don't write often these days, and I need a push to get me going, so this worked well for me. It's been a great experience from the writing POV, and I got a really excellent story written for me, right when I needed cheered up.

Thanks so much for posting this list. I found the community by doing a search for post-apocalypse on livejournal. The few stories I've read so far are great. I posted info about the ficathon at http://www.pamedia.com/ It's a website dedicated to post-apocalypse media and has discussion forums. They welcome any visitors. There are lots of discussions about pa books and movies there.
