So, I guess I haven't done a proper, non-trivia-quiz update in over 2 weeks. Oops.

Without getting too graphic, I'll just say that for the past week or so, I've been seeing multiple signs that my Crohn's Disesae is coming out of remission. This, literally right after I was told by my gastro that the colonoscopy showed I was *in* remission, even at the microscopic level. Which I probably was, at the time. I was put on the same clear-liquid diet and 10oz bottle of magnesium citricate (twice a day, morning and evening) for two full days this time, since last week's colonoscopy prep of the standard one-day protocol did not work. Since drinking the gallon of gritty crap last year didn't work well enough, this time I was put on a plan to drink an 8oz (~250ml) bottle of magnesium citricate at 8am and another at 5pm, yesterday, along with the standard clear-liquids-only diet. Had my colonoscopy this morning. This was a routine check-in, since it had been over 10 years since my last (thankfully having been in remission for nearly the entire time). I went into it resigned but not particularly stressed; sure it's not exactly FUN, but it's never been more than a hassle, honestly.

( More hassle than usual this go-around, though. )
