This, literally right after I was told by my gastro that the colonoscopy showed I was *in* remission, even at the microscopic level. Which I probably was, at the time. But now I don't think ( Read more... )

Oh no! I hope that everything settles down ASAP, or that there is at least more medical options available than you realise. x

Oh no! I hope it proves to be a minor and very temporary setback and that your Crohn's still in remission and stays there. Fingers very firmly crossed for you. *big hugs*

Oh f***! I'm really sorry ...
I hope it's only a small flare up and things will calm down again.
*hugs*

Well, that's NOT GOOD. Get thee to your gastro.

And I'll send out some good ju-ju to you. *hugs*

Dare I say it: OH SHIT. :P

I hope it's a minor flare-up and things settle down soon. I forget, can you tolerate steroids?

You're hilarious. :-P

See above: I can tolerate steroids but they don't work on the Crohn's. (They did work for my optic neuritis in 2012.)

Point of amusement: I can generally tolerate Prednisone doses up to 40mg - I've taken as much as 60mg, but my heart races then, and the second time I was put on a dose that high, I didn't tolerate it as well as I had previously. Still - I could definitely manage 40mg. My FIL, who weighs 40 pounds more than I do, goes bonkers at 20mg.
