So, a long time ago, when I was ... eleven? Possibly twelve, I tried to read Garth Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy: Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen. I stopped partway into Lirael, possibly because the subject matter was a bit beyond me, but I adored Sabriel, and recently decided I wanted a reread, now that I'm, oh, twenty-three

Oh gosh, I am so so excited to listen to this!! Sabriel was one of my faaaavourite books around my early teens too :) Pretty sure this series and the Alanna novels were my gateway into my fantasy novels obsession so have a very special place in my heart for it. And I Will Follow You into the Dark is perfect , the cover is so lovely and haunting ( I love you. I hope you don't mind. Aaaaah! brb swooning) I need to go dig out my copies of this series to reread now. Oh, and fab job on the art too, it's beautiful!!
