Well, this past weekend certainly was interesting. "Leave, Hurry"? [ he chuckles derisively. ] It sounded like nothing more than a childish prank from someone with nothing better to do. Still, I will admit that it was a troubling predicament-- and somehow, I don't believe we've heard the end of those strange creatures that appeared those nights ( Read more... )

Back where I come from, this world was a part of a video game, and my friends constantly complained about a glitch that caused static-like creatures called Missingno. to appear -- precisely, the thing that happened here this past weekend.

I'm not sure how this occurred, but I think it may be safe to assume that those are similar situations... just. I like to think that we were not warped into the world of a video game.

Yes, I keep hearing about these "video games" myself. I'm afraid that it's the most feasible explanation for this world and everything that's happened so far, though I'm still suspicious about this whole predicament.

I suppose that can't be helped, though. This world is quite the puzzle.

Perhaps, all we can do for the time being is learn to tolerate the crises and enjoy small blessings. I'm sure there will be a way out and back home one day.

A pleasant outlook, to be sure. But you know what they say: a gentleman leaves no puzzle unsolved-- and I plan to uphold my status as a gentleman.

Oh, whoops! Sorry. I meant about breeding, and well, pokemon eggs.

I see. Anything you could tell me on the subject would be extremely useful, especially if you know of any way I could acquire a Pokemon egg.

I have to agree on the last occurrence being interesting. A bit disturbing, perhaps, but in the hindsight it could've certainly been worse. [ Kristoph chuckles. He actually quite enjoyed the event. The pixelated creatures were not too hard to chase off, his robotic Pokemon didn't bother him at all and he managed to catch up to the people he was chasing catching up with. It's almost too bad it ended so soon. ]

I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise that they are able to breed, most appear to be animals after all, but I have to admit that the thought hadn't even crossed my mind. I'm afraid I have no information regarding that.

You're right. It's a relief no one was hurt, and it ended all too abruptly, if I do say so myself.

They do seem to breed like animals do, but I think that's the extent of that comparison. [ he smiles oddly. ] It's odd... I can't even communicate with them like I did with the animals in London.

With the timing it was almost as if a Halloween trick of enormous scale had been played on us.

So you've been blessed with he gift of knowing how to deal with animals? Well, despite their appearance these Pokemon seem to be quite different from the animals I'm familiar with so communicating with them is different. I myself own a dog and am used to dealing with them, but it appears that the dogs around here are... quite different [ At least Apollo's overprotective Growlithe didn't seem too pleased with Kristoph's presence. ]

Oh, and you're from London? I've had the pleasure of visiting there a few times and I have to admit that I've taken a liking to the good old city. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be having another visit there anytime soon.

You seem to have an idea yourself regarding the entire ordeal. I'd be interested to know it.

[He smiles, sort of apologetically]

I've only been here a week without much information to go on, but I found the event unsettling, and from what I understood, it wasn't a normal occurence. If there's anything you can tell me to help me understand what is happening, I'd be very grateful.

I'd be happy to expound upon what I know, but I'm afraid my knowledge is limited as well.

... I had never experienced anything like that in my time here before now, but I've been told that things like this happen irregularly... for no discovered purpose. I can't say for certain what caused it, but many theories related to something called a "video game glitch" have been popping up everywhere. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

A glitch, really? Well, I have been told that this world seems to be that of a video game - I suppose it would be plausible. That raises the question of who is playing the game, don't you think? I entertained an idea earlier that what- or whoever brought us here might have done so for experimental purposes. Testing and evaluating our responses. I have nothing substansial to found a theory from it, but it might be something to discuss.

That's precisely the idea that came into my mind. A mistake in programming is a pleasant enough explanation, but everything seems far too convenient to be happening naturally.

Unfortunately, I seem to unearth more puzzles than I solve the more I investigate.
