I would like to write a bunch, but had a long day (including a stressful bunny visit to vet - bunny is okay, but requires more meds) and I have a really long day tomorrow.

Short bunny info, just so it is out of my brain.  Our bunny Lab has glaucoma.  For the past month we have been giving him eye drops (he had a really bad eye infection before that

Our old Siamese, Puppy, did very well after going completely blind. We only found out about his blindness by accident, when he walked into a partially closed door that was usually completely open or completely closed. He had an amazing map of the house in his head, and it only took him one encounter with something new to incorporate it.

I didn't want to be Farrah Fawcett, either, and I don't know anyone who did. We live in a different world than celebrity followers, I guess. Last night I heard a Parade magazine editor liken Michael Jackson's death to that of President Kennedy, not in terms of "where were you when" but overall historical importance. I was appalled.

Good to know that critters can adapt. I guess we won't rearrange the furniture too much. ;-)

I think you are right - we are in a different world that celebrity followers. I am stunned that someone would think of this singer in relation of important to a President.

I have singers/musicians/actors whom I really love. But I can't see going crazy about it (although I did shed some real tears, but not a lot, at the deaths of Fred Rogers and of Jim Henson, both of whom were very positive influences to me).

But I couldn't see going on a vigil.

And I can't image the news covering it 24/7. At least tonight they are able to talk about other stuff...
