A dozen years ago, or so, my family moved house. I was four and a bit. I don't remember much about the move, mainly because my sister and I slept over at grandma's whilst mum and dad shifted everything. Zut alors....when I said 'update!', I didn't mean you had to write a novella! But I'm very glad you did, c'est fantastique. This sort of thing, I think, is what separates writers from the rest of us: the ability to turn very ordinary, day to day concepts and activities into stories that people actually want to read. Douglas Adams could do it too.
