Did you ever wonder why all the emo kids read The Perks of Being a Wallflower? For some strange reason, I haven't. I want to, but I haven't. I hate being emo.

Try:

White Oleander by Janet Fitch
The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides
Le Divorce by Diane Johnson
The Effect of Living Backwards by Heidi Julavits

They're all nice, light, sappy and hormonal.

As for me, I'm in the midst of reading Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. It's the cutest thing ever.

But, dammit. I still want Irving Welsh.

I'm jumping between Haruki Murakami and Gregory Maguire. Once Deb8 or Fate links our paths once more, I'll bring some along with me. ;o
