Last night when I came home well past dark, sitten did not greet me at the door. Not altogether odd, but I did take note of it. When I got to my bedroom and began setting things down, she comes running into the room, then stops, and looks directly up at me.

This was odd as she hasn't done that before so purposefully. Mistaking it for thinking

I'm excited to get to know him. And last night when he was padding around the house, it was sooo good to hear a dog out and about. :)

I'm hoping Canterbury doesn't become a scaredy cat, trembling mess. She did really well with this large chihuahua my friend brought over once. I think the size of him is what frightens her the most at the moment. he seems very gentle and didn't chase her or pester her too much. But I could tell he wanted to play. I'll swap tips for you if I learn any. :p

Okay, so 5 =/= puppy, but all dogs = puppehs! He's GORGEOUS! I want to cuddle him into a huge pile of love and scritch his posterior because all things Golden and part golden love buttscratches. Poor kitteh- I'm sure they'll be friends eventually, but protected contact is a good thing- she'll probably just hang out on shelves and watch for a bit :D And squee for cuddling!!

doggy looks very nice. i'm sure kitty will get used to him eventually, but yeah, best to give it time and introduce in small doses. lol. kitties are so cute when they do that thing where they try to tell us stoopid humans that something BIG has happened.
