Democrats and diehards vote early

Unless they have to be at work at 7:30am and have a 45 minute drive to work. :p *sigh*

I voted! :) Good for you. *squirms* But yeah, I'm trying not to get too excited about it, because then I'll just be let down. That's hard to do since the only news today is about the election! I can't escape it at work!

Yay for the voting! I've been listening to NPR all day so I can't really say I've been avoiding the news either, but if I can keep my stomach from getting all excited, I'll count it as a good thing!

*grin* I was just quoting the West Wing because it amused me. But yay voting! I had to wait for about 45 minutes, but I couldn't complain too much.

Eh, I wasn't thrilled, no. I was worried that I screwed up the stupid lines and...yeah. Plus the election worker totally looked at my ballot when he tore the top off. I glared at him muchly.

I voted after work. Last time I tried voting before work, but couldn't as it's sort of hard when you have to leave at 7 and polls open at 7 :)

We have electronic machines with a paper reciept. I think we were the first to get those?

There was actual a little line at my polling place. Four machines, all with people there, and one person ahead of us. Not much, but considering a few years ago we could only vote by absentee ballot because so few people voted in our district, not bad :)

Ooh, I've been hearing about those. I'm not a huge fan of any of the electronic ones just because of the security issues they've been seeing, but hurray for a paper trail at least.

And a huge cheer for the bigger turnout at least!

I didn't vote. I not longer believe in democracy. It's a farce.
