Neil Gaiman, again

Living in the DC area, I was lucky in that Neil Gaiman had two scheduled events nearby on his book tour for Anansi Boys. Saturday September 24th he was at the previously mentioned National Book Festival and on Sunday, September 25 he was at a Borders Books in Northern Virginia.

I'm very pleased to have had a chance to meet you! I never know what to say to authors or musicians when I ask them to sign their work for me, either. I found Gaiman's Q&A at last year's book festival more entertaining than his brief session at Borders. Maybe, like you said in your previous post about hearing him at the Book Festival this year, he was just tired. I did think that Gaiman's comments about 25% of the people having a digital picture-taking device secreted somewhere on their person were very amusing, though -- and probably quite accurate.
