harrison bergeron

there was someone at ceremony a number of weeks ago who i was trying to tell about a story called harrison bergeron. it's a short story of distopian equality by kurt vonnegut, jr. and the text can be found here .

I remember reading that one in high school.

yeah, that's where i read it. there was a kind-of sci-fi short story unit we had my freshmen year in english. i think my favorite was "there will come soft rains". depressing, but good.
