Why, why do I always do yardwork just before going back to work? Do I like being sore while climbing all the stairs ever? Do I? I cleared a bit more of the Screaming Jungle - about two thirds of the patch to the right of the path. Some of the weeds are five feet tall. Which is better than the area around the stump, where they're up to seven.

Does anybody know anything about the show Alphas?

Only that one of the authors of Shadow Unit, when told about it by a fan said she was going to go have a chat with her lawyer. I assume they must have decided, on further investigation, that it was not a copyright violation, since I have not heard anything about a lawsuit. The similarities are striking, but not too much so to be coincidence.

If you do watch more of Alphas let me know if it's any good. I'm always looking for new TV shows and we are going to run out if White Collar episodes pretty soon:(

We really enjoyed Warehouse 13, if you haven't seen that yet.

And of course, there's always the "start Doctor Who from the beginning" option :P

The person I read who really likes White Collar also really likes Downtown Abby, for what that's worth.

Oh right, and the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1985 directly from the books) is up on Netflix! It's awesome!

We've been watching the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes off and on, in between other shows. It is good for that because it is so episodic.

It's great, except that the sound balance is really lousy (This may have something to do with our TV, too) and it doesn't have subtitles, so we have no idea what people are saying about 1/3rd of the time:/ Which is a problem in a show where most of the story is conveyed through dialogue!
