In other news, I finished Percy Jackson and the Olympians and I continued to find it good. The best part was Dionysus swearing in Ancient Greek at the PacMan machine. I will probably go see the movie.

Meaning that most people you know didn't like it?

Yeah, it's pretty obvious that the movie industry is trying to find the next Harry Potter, and based on the books this is likely to be the best bet. Given that probably the best part of the books is the chapter titles, I'm not expecting way too much out of the movie either.

It is different from the book, but I enjoyed it.

There is going to be a new camp half blood series. Also, Thalia might get her own book explain what she was doing during book 4.

Personally, I like Athena talking to Percy about his plans with Annabeth.

Yeah, when the author's note said "as the first camp half-blood series winds to a close..." (emphasis mine) I kinda figured he had more in store. I'd be up for a Thalia parallel story - although I think the fact that Percy's a total dork is one of the things that makes the series the most fun.

Movies are always different from the books. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.
