Apparently USA Network thought White Collar just isn't gay enough.

I am so excited for this. I know USA has a sort of formulaic approach to its tv shows, but damn do I love the formula. Quirky male leads that generate enough ho yay to power a large urban city. Yes please.

Hm, I haven't seen a LOT of fandom racism up close. All I know is that if someone refers to African-Americans as 'chocolate' or Indians as 'nutty' one more time, sumbitches gonna get cut. We're a skin tone: not a cupcake topping.

Unless we're topping a white cupcake...uh, yeah.

It's a trend I've noticed, that fandom tends to pair white with white even when the immediate obvious couple is interracial. Do I have stats to back it up, well, not really. Is it deliberate if it's happening, well, probably not. But that's how it works. Subconsciously. I'm pretty sure I've been guilty of it, too.

I noticed that in Psych fandom. Like, obviously, obviously the OTP should be Shawn and Gus. BFFs. Adorable. Gay innuendo. But the biggest slash ship is Shawn/Lassiter.

but omg I hope this show is as gay as White Collar and Suits (it probably will be, honestly. Honestly) because both of them are SO ADORABLE. I already want to read fic.

I've never understood than inclination in Psych fandom, especially when GUS CLAIMED SHAWN ON HIS TAXES.
