Erm...against his father's WISHES. An important word accidentally left out.

Being a red-head is significant. I've put together a genealogy, if you will, based on the creation myth. It shows he is descended from the great Red Haired warriors of the past (now mere legend). There may be some prophecy associated with the red haired warriors returning. Keio, of course, scoffs at this since he is basically an atheist and questions whether the prophecy was written before his birth. However, he does encourage many societal changes hinted in the prophecy. Also, this has been his foremost trait since I created him in 8th grade, and that just can't be changed.

I am an advocate for happy endings, actually. Don't know if his kids will actually be there. Don't know if I'll actually write about it.
