it is a good thing I don't actually watch Supernatural and don't really plan to start

Or else I would have to write the plotbunny I got involving an AU in which Prince Hal and Prince John go demon-hunting.

And I feel it would be wrong.

See, this is the problem with LJ-based fandom. You pick up a lot of stuff via your flist and then you get ideas that are connected at least tangentially to shows you don't even watch.

But I'd ( Read more... )

Some things are so wrong, they're right. I don't like SPN but I'd happily read about Prince John hunting demons.

Is there kidney-eating on SPN? There isn't, is there?

Anyway I am not actually going to write the fic, so rest easy.

(Also that probably came off snippier than I meant it to. Sorry about that.)

Euwww, you mean you'd be writing Lancest? NOBODY deserves to have to sleep with Prince John.

I don't watch SPN (after the first five episodes, I wanted my four hours back) and don't read the fic, but...well, there's J2, which isn't incestuous.

No, srsly, of course there's non-Wincest SPN fic. Just not a lot.

Years ago, I ran into one of hte librarians at our local public library at a con. The next time I saw her in the library, I asked what she was working on fannishly and she said "A Pros genzine," and we both collapsed with laughter.

Oh, write it! I've seen the first series of Supernatural and it was reasonably entertaining, but this sounds like so much fun.
