I think I may be naive. Seriously. Okay, the blog that koolaidmom11 took a little umbridge at is a bag of OMG

The owner wrote an blog on the mother who took her kids toys and sold them on eBay - after they destroyed her bathtub.

Oh this was me poking my nose about, looking at the comments (never have I seen a site so mono viewed) But I just thought to myself "This site sucks"

And these women are so judgmental.

Honestly I think not having kids gives you a different perspective. I have none of my own, as you know, but between working at schools/daycares, having enough nieces and nephews to populate a small village, and Stephanie, I do get to see what is going on. I also frequent a confession site, which has a mom section. So I do see a lot of what mothers think and do, and it seems that in this day and age, children aren't meant to be raised. They're meant to be coddled. You give in to their every whim or else you are abusive. You can't make a threat you aren't willing to follow through on, or else they will walk all over you. These days everything is a time out. Hell, a couple of weeks ago Stephanie swore at me. She wasn't being mean or anything, I'm sure it was just something she heard. (I'm not a fucking mind reader!) So I took away TV for the afternoon. Perhaps lenient, I don't know, but in general she is a very well-behaved child so I don't feel I need to jump right into drastic punishment. But when she told her mother, I got bitched out ( ... )
