You are right, the word bullying is being over used and as a result we are being desensitized and are ignoring the times that we do need to step up and step in.

I completely agree with you. I don't advocate bullying but there will always be some bullying going on. As an adult, i think enough is enough. Unless someone is in a position of power over you, then that's different like a work situation, That's outright harassment.

I have to disagree. You can be bullied online. I think it is far easier to avoid or do something about when it's online, but it is out there.Do you think you can be emotionally bullied, or only physically? If you can be emotionally bullied, how does being online somehow protect you from that?

I will agree that people use it too freely. I also believe that true online bullying will MOST LIKELY spill into your real life (kids at school ganging up on you online, etc). Online bullying doesn't happen NEARLY as much as people claim it does, because most of the time it's merely someone's feeling being hurt by a disagreement, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
