I didn't get the chance to really dig into just hanging out with the comic artists and the craftsy artists so I really do want to go back next year and just have a chill run where I'm not worried about missing so-and-so's autograph or standing in line for a panel. Just stroll around, unhurried, and soak it all in.

ETA: I didn't know you were watching way back when it aired! That's so cool!
ETA the second: The first scene of BtVS I ever saw was because of my dad, too! He had "Chosen" on in the kitchen while he did dishes when it aired, and little 12-year-old me covered my eyes and peeked out in awe/horror b/c I was positive a show about vampires was too terrifying to actually watch.
YOU COULD BRING YOURS TO NEXT YEAR'S CON TO HANG OUT WITH MY DAD (who is already talking about doing father/daughter costumes. So far Giles & Buffy is the best idea we've come up with).
Oh James, so expressive. I miss that headtilt.com site still as that captured Spike/James mannerisms perfectly.
The autographs are so cool.
Also, I have heard about James before being so on and animated in panels. My friend Carolyn went to one once at Philly Wizard World and I have to tell you about it. It involves his deep thoughts on threesomes, lol.
Finally, when we hang out you MUST tell me about the fanfic panel I was too tired to do lol. Now that EL James is back at it with her Fifty Shades version of Meyer's Midnight Sun (essentially), then it's just all the rage :P
I did! I loved the panel! Though discussing that live is not really my thing. I'm more about having ~feminist~ feelings expressed through thoughtful comments on the internet. I need time to collect myself. DDD:

But blergh the fanfic panel was kinda meh compared to all the excitement from earlier in the day. Felt more like the lady was trying to sell her book on the subject as opposed to being truly helpful. Honestly, the lawyer in the audience was more en pointe with her advice.

I did! I had the most lovely time and it was wonderful to dive back into something that's brought me so much joy over the years. And yes, Amber Benson is clearly the real vampire of the bunch. She fooled us all.
