110 mins of stalklight

Jul 25, 2009 22:58

Today was one of those weekends, after a long time, I get to find time for myself. I have been yearning for this day, when I can sit all day at home, and worry about home-keeping. After a busy cockroach-fight in the kitchen until noon, I decided to go for a long walk minus the ear-phones of my mobile-FM. I have noticed that,  when I am on Radio, I ( Read more... )

'Mens seats"?! I had no idea it was separated like that in India.

Anyhow, it sounds very scary. It's better to be safe than sorry, always, regardless of how we feel later. I think most of us, especially females, can definitely understand your emotions. Very few people in the public are helpful these days. And nobody trusts anyone these days. We should always be careful. I am glad you were vigilant enough to keep mum about your personal info.

Hope he disappears entirely.

Do take care,
Kajan

In most parts of the country there are seperate "ladies seats" so the rest of the bus ends up predominantly male.

Yes, the men's seats are separate, and mostly the back rows, So its kind of awkward to keep turning back and looing for the stalker.
Yes, you are right about being cautious, one can never can guess when it gets serious.. I missed you here, heh, well, I have not being posting as well :)

It's not men's seats.. unlike the ladies' seats .. they aren't reserved. So you could have sat there are got proper confirmation about the stalker :-p

Great read! Could you have walked into a private enterprise (like Crossword), and informed security there if he still continued to follow you?

Right, the problem is with my brain processing, I process multiple instructions at a given time under a "while fear=true " loop. I was worried, what if he disappears when I enter crossword, and later follow me when I get out of crossword. I had so many other doubts running into my tiny brain, like, what if he is part of a bigger gang, waiting to kidnap me !
I just wanted him out of my sight, before it got further dark. I had this other fear that, what if he started to track me without my knowledge.

Ha, I know, am hopeless ! I had to break that while true loop to think straight!

i know how it feels!! in such scenario u culd just get into a mall or dep store and act as if u are buying something. if its a mall he surely will try in follow u so tht he does not miss in the crowd key is not to look scared be confident and tht scares them!! whn u know some one is stalking e more cool and walk slowly and try to cross roads abrptly so hat the person cannot judge r next move

Right, I guess I lacked confidence, I should have acted, as if I was not bothered. I guess, he was just playing a game of instiling fear in lonely female shoppers !

I just wanted him out of my sight, before it got further dark. I had this other fear that, what if he started to track me without my knowledge. I was worried, if I entered some mall, he would be waiting outside to follow me again, unless I had another exit, or someone to drive me away :(

Hmm...he certainly looked like a stalker...not sure a good or bad one. Lucky that he did not follow you home.

After a busy cockroach-fight
Someone who can fight a cockroach, in my eyes is the bravest person on this earth. I, for one, would run away miles away from cockroach. And funny thing is, I am a Biology student and had to dissect cockroaches for practicals.
