today she comes into our lives..
, Friend R delivered a cute looking healthy baby gal couple of hours back. Rash and I have now officially become the chachis and we are all set to train the little one in all our bakra tricks/pranks!
Unfortunately it is a C-section, we are not allowed to visit her today. I had always imagined R's delivery to be full of excitement and anticipation with all of us rushing her to the hospital, waiting outisde the labor room etc. However, it didn't , it turned out to be totally silent, with a simple call from her hubby informing me about the child's birth and asking us to trouble the baby and the mother only from tomorrow.
Can't wait to see the baby, its a long awaited moment from the first day I suggested her to self-check up with a pregnancy kit at home, the first time the results turned negative, few days later the expression she gave me at lunch confirming the tests to be positive, weeks followed browsing through the net to keep her updated on changes, empathizing with her sickness and feeling miserable with her discomfort at work, months followed with all of us curious and excited about the growing size of her tummy and just last weekend visitng her when she felt nervous and trying to give her comfort and courage as her mom was out of town ... and finally the day has come today..
July - 27th .. a little lioness joins our group ! It doesn't stop with these months alone, now we would count years, watching the little one grow !
All scheduled and pending weekend plans stay canceled, and I know what to do next !
