"We'll be loaded with stories from our (currently ongoing) trip to Japan (wrapping up a project for Studio Ghibli and Disney) and copious amounts of rum."

You two are the closest I'll ever come to meeting Nick and Nora Charles.

FYI--if I misspelled Shaenon's name anywhere (and it looks fine here), it's because I'm typing on a Japanese keyboard and hitting weird buttons that change the characters every few keystrokes.

Glad you liked the interviews, and thanks for the Thin Man comparison! Shaenonononon will love that.

Those interviews make me realize I need to be a hell of a lot more social, rather than just having webcomics as a thing I do on the side to distract myself from my soul-crushing day job. I don't suppose there's any sort of webcomic meetups around here, are there?

I'm actually hoping to get a webcomics meetup event at the Cartoon Art Museum in December, so stay tuned.

Send an e-mail to me at gallery@cartoonart.org and I can put you on my local comic creators' mailing list, too, and that will help get you in the loop as far as comics events in and around the Bay Area.
