I remember when I saw that list I found the repetition (Narnia, and Shakespeare) ridiculous.

Heh. I guess the bit about "six books" was added to entice more people to do the meme - it's only natural to want to show that you've in fact read more than 6 :-) And indeed quite UK centric I think - I'd have probably a few more bolds if I'd gone to school here and not in Germany.

I love how War and Peace is followed by Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy - you couldn't get two completely different books if you'd have tried.

Also I think nearly every Australian has read Cloudstreet - either for school or pleasure - (or any Tim Winton book for that matter!)
