So do I and I agree about the show going out on a relative high too. I'll be sad to see it go but I'm glad it's going while I still love it. In British TV terms it's done amazingly well to get five series and 65 episodes and I'm very proud of it for achieving that.
I made many friends who are still dear friends to this day.
This is the true value of fandom I think in introducing like-minded people to each other.

Did the cast and crew of Merlin know this would be the final series before they finished filming? Will it be a rush job to tie up loose ends or did they have time to give us a considered ending?
