I loved Gaius and Arthur at the end of 4.07 xD Everything in Arthur's being tells him to hate magic and take his father's path, but at the end, you truly see how he trusts Gaius while not under the influence of his Uncle. He listened to him so much and with so much respect and I am so excited that the seeds of tolerance towards magic have been sown again and that he was listening and processing and I can't wait to see it become more and more evident that he is not Uther.

And OMG COLIN MORGAN broke me. Broke me into a zillion pieces. How I wish I'd seen this ep before meeting him.

I think we're getting a reveal this season. Everything is pointing towards it (Colin's Q&A comments as well have me thinking!)

I also think they are setting up the arc for the reveal the end of this series. The clues are slotting into place, esp. in episode 7 with Agravaine talking about years of lies and then focusing on Merlin's face plus the way Arthur said that Gaius could run and he wouldn't send a patrol after him. We are getting a good picture of what Arthur would do if Merlin's magic was revealed.

Loved these episodes. Lots of nuance and hints as well as echoes of past events (Witchfinder was really similar in many ways).

I'm loving Agravaine. By the way he reacted to Morgana's unconscious body, he looked like he loved her and I can accept that he might. That would certainly explain why he chose her over Arthur. Plus he's so manipulative that he wiggles out of everything. I think Arthur is increasingly suspicious but can't say anything to Merlin since it's obvious that Merlin doesn't like the uncle. But we'll see how things progress!

With every episode in season 4 I am more convinced that we will see a magic reveal at the end of this season and that the final season will be the fallout of Merlin and Arthur dealing with that.

Yes, I'm starting to think that too. I wasn't sure before this episode but everything is starting to point towards it now. That final scene between Arthur and Gaius was wonderful with Arthur displaying such a mature reaction that Gaius, if not Merlin, may start to wonder if the time for a reveal is nearly upon them.
