This shit is going to play out whether anyone notices... or not.

This is the thing. Right there.

What I've been trying to tell my family is that the environment is The Titanic. It will keep chugging away on the same path for a long time after the wheel is turned. They get it, but it isn't really real to them yet. My fear is that things will happen so fast that life will go from crappy but mostly normal to surreal in less than a decade.

Also, you might want to take a look at a film called A Sea Change by Niijii films, produced by Barbara Ettinger and Sven Huseby.
