Word to the Wise on the Westin

The local Alt History track staff made a scouting expedition to the Wild Wild Westin yesterday afternoon after the last general Dragon*Con staff meeting

The Westin is a really nice hotel. I'm glad to see they're giving the Alt History track room to spread its wings.

These are great directions, I just hope the D*Con program will have a map of the Westin inside it. The last time I was there (several years ago) for my then partner's prom we got lost and couldn't find our way out! No joke.]

I'm counting on the fact that either it was my partner's fault, or my sense of direction has improved.

The main thing to remember is that the track room is right inside the front door. :)

(I have been known to get all turned around inside parking garages, myself.)

The handicap accessible entrence is on around the side on the side closest to the Hyatt., I was just over there 2 days ago and used it. You have to go under some scaffolding as they are doing some renovations.

Thank you! I hope the renovations are done before the Con (but that's probably a vain hope....)

I seriously doubt it, it's the largest hotel renovation ever, and they haven't been at it too long. The scaffolding doesn't block anything though.
