There is a reason I hate microwave cooking.

I tried to make granola, requiring water and sugar to be "cooked" together in the microwave for 5 minutes.

Should have been 2 minutes.

Yuck.

Currently our Microwave sparkes every time we turn it on. I can't for the life of me figure out why, but it's hella scary. I feel like I'm cooking cancer surprise everytime I turn it on. I was hoping to get another few years outta this one, so that I wouldn't have to replace it with an interim machine before we remodel the kitchen... but we're so dependant on them now I don't know we could get along without it... sigh... damn the march of progress! If we were still living outta caves this so wouldn't be an issue... ;)
