what i've been hearing most this year:
"go to a good college. it'll be a good environment and you're more likely to find a good boyfriend there"
never mind the fact that i need intellectual growth and stimulation. i guess all i need is a boyfriend

Psh, sorry babe, but all the good "boyfriends" at the good colleges are just that...boyfriends already! That, or they're too busy with their studies to get involved with a girl.
Dig in Sarah...be a gold digger and abandon your feminist views! :P

NEVER. if my years of hard work and all nighters only amount to me ultimating looking for a guy, i'm gonna shoot myself.

But really, you're gonna want a guy to help motivate you when times are down, to support you when times are bad, and to just be there to share your experience. Yup yup, believe it or not, Sarah < Team (Sarah + Guy) < Team JK. haha but don't measure yourself with the last term of the inequality, it's practically infinity it's so unfair!

whats more important,
a loving hustband that will be with you till you die or knowledge (half of which you really dont need) that will be with you till you die....
you might choose knowledge now, but years later, will you really want to be studying books by yourself?
also, i think your mom is just trying to connect with you on your level, which is boys... i dont know. my mom says the same things.
