I only have one fic that really needs a warning because it features self-injury. It's got a warningon my website, but not on FF.net. Urk, I just realized it might not have one on LJ either.

I added either a "no content needing..." or a "warning for abuse, threats, past/present domestic violence" ...that kind of thing on my others. I figure if there are things that I forgot that are needed, and someone lets me know, I can just edit.

What I've seen in the discussion is that character death is something that some people are annoyed by. It's not something that most people are triggered by (unless they've recently had an upsetting death in the family or it's a graphic death that reminds them of when they worked someone who didn't make it or the like).

Triggers tend to be things that you'd expect that literally TRIGGER one's experiences with abuse...and many are very, very personal. THOSE are not things for which one labels or warns; I mean...how? Like I said: I don't expect anyone to warn for "I have an OC named Jason, just in case..." and impertinence doesn't expect anyone to say "My story contains calculus ( ... )
