He must be really bored. My dad was never into anime in general.

It could be worce, my mom ended up seeing a bit of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo once, and she thought the stuff I normally watch is weird! :p

I caught my Mom watching and episode of Yu Yu Hakusho once. XD She claimed that she was "just looking into it to see why I watched it".
