so i only just realised that not only does the second season of mushishi (SECOND SEASON OF MUSHISHI) mean that kumado's arc will get animated (KUMADO does this mean people will finally acknowledge his existence), it also means that we will get to see

haha i have no idea who that is tho, the manga was actually...too hard for me to read.....so i have a few volumes but only made a few cursory attempts at them /o\

IKR??? of all the unlikely things to get a second season years later. thank you anime gods

haha no worries. he was in a weird arc that, among other things, [spoilers]kind of implied that humans have souls in the mushishi world and kumado's soul... got replaced by mushi... or something... basically it's totally weird but satisfies my interest in characters who may not be conventionally human.

also he's part of the minai clan of mushishi who have to serve the karibusa, so tanyuu's in that arc.
