42nd Build [Action]

[amazing_guy]

[This is Guy sticking his head out the apartment door. He's heard nasty rumors about this curse and is dead set on getting the hell out of dodge. Checking behind him, he Solid Snake's his way out and down the hallway, almost....ALMOST home free.]

[ long day at work was long, but at least she made a new friend. How could she possibly miss this one curse~?

Well she could forget it's happening, for one. And she blinks as she notices a movement out the corner of her eye and stills ]

...Guy, is that you?

[ Her cheeks are crimson right now, and she steps back enough to give them a safe enough distance. ]

D-Don't apologize... I didn't mind.

[ A weak smile, she can feel her heart racing, but at how Guy reacted... ]

A lot of people will want to kiss you today, Guy... b-be careful. You might have backlash because of this.

[ Brushing her fingers against her lips absently, then looks up at him with a small grin ]

Isn't that your default setting anyway?

[ Just tease and get out of the line of fire~ and she steps back, right under another mistletoe, but there's enough distance now. ]

Well-

[He found himself stepping forward again. Instead of wrapping his arms around her, he tilted her chin upwards with his hand, leaned down, and laid another one on her.]

[ She blinks at that, but before she can stop him, her own eyes half-close and she tilts her face up, keeping her hands down so that he can move away quickly if he wants--

Though she doesn't want him stopping any time soon and she returns it, feeling warm and then opens her eyes, watching him for a bit. ]

...I don't feel like stopping.

[He had to pull back again, panting. He wanted to keep going to. It was all new to him but if he kept it up, he'd explode.]

I-I think I'd better get some fresh air. Sorry.

[ That makes her chuckle a bit, though there is a hint of disappointment in her tone when she speaks. ]

I understand. I'll see you later today, okay?

[ Pauses, stepping back again to her home door. ]

Heh. Our first and second kisses. Who would have thought?

[Sort of rushes out, embarrassed and confused. Not to mention scared. What a terrible combination.]

[ Watches him run off, the smile fading from her lips.

Poor, poor Guy... she wonders how much of that he actually meant, but not willing to let herself get too hopeful, she returns to her home.

And she knows why she's feeling so guilty. ]
