I wish my high school was cool enough to have meaningful quotes scrawled on the desks. XD; I like that one... though it can be both depressing and motivating ._.
Weakness is simply a matter of perception. It is an excuse. People are who they are and strengths and weaknesses are just words they use to help the transition from the ideal realm of perfection to the practical realm of flaws. The need to assert personal power and the excuses for the resulting failings.
Fighting is an action, and thus it requires a target. An action must be applied to a target. However, weakness is not a suitable target because it does not really exist beyond the perception of a quality essential to the self.
Therefore, it is impossible to fight weakness. What you can fight, however, is the idea that you have a weakness, though that, too, is more metaphorical than anything else.
Rid yourself of the perception of weakness, and you see that there never was anything to overcome.
What exists and does not exist is not a matter of opinion. I mean, one could argue that weakness does exist, but there would have to be reasons beyond "Reality is dependent purely on perception."
In any case, the core of the matter here is simply that as long as you perceive your being in terms of strength vs. weakness, you'll be in a never-ending conflict. Weakness will not die because it does not exist - you only perceive it to be so. As such, the key is to be rid of the entire idea that you are comprised of strengths and weaknesses, because then there is nothing left to fight and peace is attained.

That all depends on if you think weakness exists doesn't it? Why can't it be "fight to be stronger"?
