Internet stuff I've been playing with

What with the free time I've had recently, I've been playing with online toys a bit.
  • Have finally decided to see what all this IM fuss is about. Well, I say that: I had an ICQ account back in '97(ish) whilst I was a student when it was new and shiny, but wasn't all that taken with it. Quite useful for keeping in touch now we're overseas though. ( Read more... )

I've not played with del.icio.us yet; not really found a reason to, somehow. I'm sure I'll get round to it sometime ...

My favourite at the moment is Last.FM, a music profiling / recommendations / streaming site, though I don't use the radio side of it. They've just done a major reworking of the site, so I'm still finding my way around the new version, but it's shaping up well :)

That's exactly the state of mind I had re del.icio.us before having a go, and I'm not really blown away. Maybe I'm missing something.

Had a look at Audioscrobber way back when, when you lot[1] first got into it, but these days I listen to most things by putting the CD into the CD player, so MP3 tagging isn't must use...
