My day started out with my delightful annual ob/gyn exam.

Middle of it has been kids fighting. ie: "stop it" "no, YOU stop it" X1000.  Then Alex charging Abby a quarter for him to stop throwing a ball at the wall between their two rooms. Then him teasing Camille into a crying frenzy. Then me losing my mind and saying things with clenched teeth and

Oh, God that is the day from hell and if you and I lived closer together I would vote for congregating at one house, locking the children in various rooms, and drinknig heavily until the fathers come home.

That's legal, right? Maybe?

Remember my little dream scene on the deck? It has since degenerated into DQ stealing things from Eowyn, Eowyn dumping sand and water on Inara and Inara screaming and crying.

Also, the "someone else raise my kids" tag made me lol. A lot.

And also, I know you said you weren't commenting alot so maybe you saw it, but since I also post a lot and you might have missed it, I thought I'd let you know that I posted a fic for Calliewise a few days back. Thanks Bethy. *hug* I knew you could relate to that day.

For all the whining I just did, I feel guilty because they are all playing together nicely right now. We'll see how long that lasts.

And the locking the kids in one room sounds like the best idea I've ever heard. Maybe they will all become friends, right?

Ooooh that is a very very bad day! Can't you just send Abbs and Alex out to someone's house, or drop them off at the pool? Poor thing, I wish I could wave my magic wand and send you off to a calm cool place where Ryan Reynolds is sitting next to you reading you poetry while you sip on a Margarita.

Summers are just awful, the kids are all cooped up inside with you....

They won't go to the pool unless I go with them, mostly. Which means Camille as well. And packing snacks and drinks and you might as well make a day of it. Bleh. Some days I feel like doing that, not today.

Abby's best friend (Katy) is gone for probably another week at Yellowstone. But she IS having a sleepover at one of her other friends' tonight. So that's good.

AND YES to the Ryan scenario. !!!

It wasn't that bad--I've had worse. :( Yesterday was just a bad PMS day and a lot of it was my own fault or coincidence. Today is better.
