-Would have started to get to know each other at Red Sox spring training '07 (unless they got to know each other playing against each other in AAA).
-Dustin sends Kevin text messages
-Were locker neighbours last season in Boston.
-Kevin once had to have teammates pull Pedroia off of him after a "rules discrepency" in a sunflower seed spitting contest.
-If they won the World Series last season Dustin was going to fight Kevin in the outfield.
-They co-managed a fantasy football team.
So that's really what I know offhand. They just have this really goofy, awesome friendship, and they're pretty much my favourite pairing ever now. Hope this helps?

some background info, a little tl;dr, so apologies.
the aliens i have decided to use are known as the oonzukt (oonzuki indicating a member of the species or the adjective form), and they are around 3 feet tall on average. males are naturally colored with oddly varied hair, while females are oddly colored with naturally colored hair. here is a picture of a typical oonzuki (it is indeed my friend stephen's creation, but he prefers the spelling "oonzucht ( ... )

Unprepared.
That was the only word Dustin could find to describe how he felt when he opened the bathroom door in the locker room. Unprepared to find a three-foot-tall furry pink... thing, just standing nonchalantly in the mens' room with its (her?) arms crossed behind her (its?) back.
As the door fell back with a light thump, Dustin cocked his head, eying the Red Sox cap that teetered precariously on the thing's head, offset by her enormous fox-like ears. It was the only thing she wore that resembled something halfway normal, despite the oddness of its position atop her unruly auburn hair.
He stared at her. She stared right back.
"Um," was all he could think to say. This is a mens' room, he thought, but was ( ... )

on another note, i am very glad you liked. i wish i had pictures of forrest and roze, but stephen has their D&D character sheets on which we drew them. i may be able to convince him to scan their pictures but he likes to not do what i tell him.
