the hockey section of sports RPS has a kink meme going on, and i just got sad when there was no baseball one. so i figured, why not? let's give it an at-bat or two?

At first Lowrie held himself off of Nick, their foreheads angled together, just breathing in the humid spray until their breaths synched up and fell into rhythm, chests rising and falling in unison. Nick was afraid to touch him, understanding on some level that his hand against Lowrie's body would suddenly remind Lowrie of what they were actually doing, and he would spook, run away forever. His back to the wall with Lowrie braced in front of him, Lowrie's naked body so close to his own, the water from a single showerhead sluicing down over them both, their breath mingling in the faint steam between their faces: this was already so much more than he had ever dared to hope for

That last line is absolutely beautiful. I like how you got more than just the literal meaning out of "amnesia." Interesting take on the kink, and very well-written story. Sexy yet a little sad as well.
