1. Main Character: Anastasia Tremaine, AKA the Red Queen of Once Upon A Time in Wonderland, is in desperate need of her own spin-off. In addition to her complete and utter badassery, there are way too many questions left unanswered after OUATIW ended and the next season of OUAT began. Although she was supposedly "redeemed" from her wicked, villainous ways at the end OUATIW, she has never been shown in the OUAT universe, and her "True Love" in fact moved on to find a new romance in Storybrooke. The audience deserves to know what went "wrong" since her apparent happy ending.
2. Title & Summary: Once Upon A Time: Through The Looking Glass is a darker, somewhat more adult and serious foray into the OUAT universe and with 3000% fewer plot holes!. The story focuses on Anastasia Tremaine, the former Red Queen (and briefly White Queen) of Wonderland and her life in Storybrooke. After ending her relationship with Will Scarlet, Anastasia feels betrayed and alone and will do anything to find a way back to Wonderland. Along the way she is aided by the volatile Phoebe Wells- another Wonderland ex-pat whose life in Storybrooke has not been all that she hoped it would be- and occasionally by Jefferson (better known as the Mad Hatter). Ana's plans are interrupted, however, when a stranger who possesses the real first edition of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and more than a few of her great-great-grandmother's skills, arrives in Storybrooke on a hunt for the truth.
3B. Side Character Descriptions:
»Rose Briton: All her life, Rose Briton has heard that she is descended from the real Alice, and though the family myth has always amused Rose, she's never really believed it. But one day while cleaning out the attic of her family's ancestral home, she finds a dusty old book whose hand-written pages tell a very different story from that told by Lewis Carroll. Intrigued by her great-great-grandmother's tales, Rose begins to investigate Alice's claims and starts out on a journey that takes her to a Victorian insane asylum, a field long-devoid of rabbit holes, and finally- and bafflingly- to an invisible town in America.
»Phobe Wells/The Duchess: In Wonderland, Phoebe Wells was known only as the Duchess, where her violent and nonsensical mood swings made her poor company. As a member of the aristocracy, she was often invited to the Red Queen's palace, though she was much closer to Cora, the Queen of Hearts. In Storybrooke, Phoebe Wells is the feared principal of Storybrooke High School, where her temper tantrums and harsh punishments are legendary. When she finds out that Anastasia is looking for a way back to Wonderland, she eagerly offers to help any way she can- as long as she can go back to Wonderland and get away from all of these bloody children!
