If you hit your head hard enough for memory loss, you'd have a terrible headache and it would hurt to move. Otherwise you're on the same boat I am: Lost in an unfamiliar place with no idea who we are.

What I've gathered is: This place is an island called Memento Eden. Periodically, people appear here with no memory of their past beyond their first name. There's a modest town on the island (I can lead you to it if you want.) where you can live that has even gone as far as to provide free housing and food for newcomers. Apparently, if you stay around long enough your memories will start coming back. I only got here yesterday myself, so I haven't gotten any back yet.

Oh, also, apparently there is some sort of force at work that likes to mess with the people here.

You just arrived here yourself? You seem to be faring better than me. I think I really did hit my head, it's aching pretty badly. Or is that normal as well?

I'm pretty sure other people already mentioned this, but the amnesia thing isn't all that weird around here. Almost everyone has it, it's kind of a given if you're here.
